หลักวิธีการอ่าน (Reading Methods)
วิธีการอ่านแบ่งออกเป็น 3 แบบ คือ:
1. การอ่านแบบ Scanning
2. การอ่านแบบ Skimming
3. การอ่านแบบ Intensive
1.เรื่องวิธีการอ่านแบบ Scanning และ Skimming
1.การอ่านแบบ Scanning
คือ การอ่านเร็ว โดยเลือกอ่านเฉพาะบางแห่งของบทอ่านเท่านั้น เพื่อที่จะค้นหารายละเอียดบางประการ ใช้กับคำถามที่มีลักษณะดังนี้
- ถามรายละเอียดปลีกย่อย (Specific details)
- ถามเชิงเหตุผล (Logical structure)
- ถามความหมายของคำศัพท์ (Contextual meaning)
- ถามตัวอ้างอิง (Reference)
2. การอ่านแบบ Skimming
คือ การอ่านเร็ว โดยอ่านเนื้อความทั้งหมดแบบคร่าวๆผ่านๆเพื่อสรุปประเด็น และ จับใจความสำคัญ ใช้กับการตอบคำถามบางชนิด คือ
- ถามประเด็นสำคัญของเรื่อง (Main ideas)
- ถามเจตนา, วัตถุประสงค์ (Purpose)
- ถามอารมณ์, ความรู้สึกนึกคิด (Tone, Attitude)
- ถามให้ตีความ (Implication)
- ถามเกี่ยวกับการขยายความ (Further application ideas)
*** การอ่านสื่อต่างๆ ในชีวิตประจำวัน เช่น ข้อความจากหนังสือพิมพ์, พจนานุกรม , แผนภูมิ , ตาราง ,การพยากรณ์อากาศ , ฉลากยา ใช้ทักษะการอ่านแบบ Skimming คือ การกวาดตาอย่างเร็วๆ เพื่อดูข้อมูลทั่วๆไป และ Scanning คือ การกวาดตาอย่างเร็วๆ เพื่อหาจุดมุ่งหมายที่ต้องการ
*** การอ่านสื่อต่างๆ ในชีวิตประจำวัน เช่น ข้อความจากหนังสือพิมพ์, พจนานุกรม , แผนภูมิ , ตาราง ,การพยากรณ์อากาศ , ฉลากยา ใช้ทักษะการอ่านแบบ Skimming คือ การกวาดตาอย่างเร็วๆ เพื่อดูข้อมูลทั่วๆไป และ Scanning คือ การกวาดตาอย่างเร็วๆ เพื่อหาจุดมุ่งหมายที่ต้องการ
